Set of Twelve Sculptural Dining Chairs With Elegant Wooden Frames
Set of twelve dining chairs, beech, fabric, Europe, 1960s
This set of twelve dining chairs, crafted in Europe during the 1960s, features frames made from light beech wood. Notable for their rounded armrests, these chairs demonstrate a unique design where the armrests connect seamlessly to the front and back legs. The legs, positioned directly beneath the armrest ends, are elegantly tapered both at the top and towards the floor. A distinctive detail is the inward curve of the legs towards the seating area on all four sides, adding to the chairs' aesthetic appeal. The padded backrests and seats are upholstered in green fabric.
