Danish Set of Eight Armchairs in Stained Mahogany
Set of eight armchairs, stained mahogany, leatherette, Denmark, 1960s.
The model of these chairs is angular and modest as it is build up in mainly horizontal and vertical lines. The clear, angular shapes are giving these chairs a strong appearance. This sturdy character is even more emphazised by the dark color of the stained mahogany and the brown leatherette. However, the robust look is balanced out by the more rounded endings and the armrests which have a more organic shape.
Please note that we advise reupholstery and refinishing before use. This can be done before shipping by our experienced craftsman in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece retains its value and is ready for the many years to come. We kindly ask you to contact our design experts for further information about the endless possibilities our restoration and upholstery atelier has to offer. Of course, a locally organized reupholstery and restoration is possible too.
The mahogany type of this piece does not require an export license.
