Roger Capron Oval Coffee Table with Fauna Imprints in Ceramic and Wood

Sale price$5,450.00

Roger Capron, coffee table, ceramic, stained wood and plywood, France, 1960s

This table is another exquisite example of Roger Capron’s work, showcasing an oval tabletop composed of his preferred material, ceramic, with intricate organic detailing that lends a handcrafted, textured appeal. The design is arranged in a concentric pattern with alternating white tiles and warm, earthy brown finished tiles that exhibit various plants imprints. The base consists of four simple, rectangular legs made of darkened wood, allowing the attention to remain focused on the decorative ceramic top. One tile bears Capron's signature, marked with "R. Capron".

Kindly note that the piece is in good, used condition with signs of age and use. For further details, we encourage you to reach out to our team of design specialists.
