Robert Haussmann for De Sede Sofa in Beige Upholstery
Robert Haussman for De Sede, three-seat sofa, fabric and chrome plated metal, Switzerland, design 1954.
This comfortable three-seat sofa is designed by Robert Haussmann for De Sede and features a chromed frame that functions as a basket for the cushions. The thick seating cushions provide an excellent standard of comfort. The light beige upholstery has a soft texture and forms a striking combination with the clean, chrome plated metal outer frame.
De Sede once started as a saddler's workshop in Klingnau, Switzerland. Slowly, the company widened their Scope and committed themselves to transforming the best possible leather into seating furniture. In 1965 the family-run business grew into a professional company and their name was De Sede AG. De Sede products are detail-obsessed with the main focus on the people who own them. Therefore, all the DeSede items are made out of the best materials which results in durability and comfort.
