Pierre Dariel Pair of 'Hendaye' Armchairs in Striped Upholstery and Oak

Sale price$5,950.00

Pierre Dariel, pair of 'Hendaye' armchairs, oak, fabric, France, 1930s

Pair of armchairs designed by Pierre Dariel in the 1930s. The structure is composed entirely out of oak, while the seat and backrest are upholstered in a striped fabric. Unique to these chairs is the system created to fold in the seat and backrest up- or downwards. Due to the very structured frame and armrests, the chairs have a lot of character.

Kindly note that the fabric is in used condition with signs of age and use, including discoloration and stains. Reupholstery is possible before shipping by our experienced craftspeople in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece retains its value and is ready for the many years to come. We kindly ask you to contact our design experts for further information about the endless possibilities our restoration and upholstery atelier has to offer. Of course, a locally organized reupholstery is possible as well.
