This pair of 'Leonardo' dining chairs is designed by Oswald Mathias Ungers. Professor Oswald Mathias Ungers was regarded as a strong advocate for the use of classical geometry for designing furniture. These chairs were designed for the Baden State Library in Karlsruhe, Germany in 1988. Remarkable detail is the square seat upholstered in black leather which is outlined by the wooden frame, emphasizing the sleek look of the chair. This set gives off a natural yet modern and sophisticated look.
