Set of Six Italian Dining Chairs in Olive Green Upholstery

Sale price$9,300.00

Set of six dining chairs, beech, fabric, Italy, 1960s

This elegant set of six Italian dining chairs from the 1960s showcases a refined balance between architectural precision and timeless craftsmanship. Showing strong resemblances to iconic designs such as Augusto Savini’s Pamplona chair (1965) and Afra & Tobia Scarpa's Pigreco chair (1959–1960), these chairs possess a distinctive character that sets them apart. Crafted from solid beechwood, the chairs showcase a balanced composition of vertical and horizontal lines, giving them a structured, architectural look. The backrest is supported by a wooden frame with two parallel slats that connect to the front legs. An additional slat is placed between the front and back legs, providing extra stability and reinforcing the overall design.
