John Vedel Rieper for Källemo Set of Twelve Dining Chairs in Oak
John Vedel Rieper for Källemo, set of twelve dining chairs, oak, leather, Denmark, 1960s
This design features a constructive frame with sleek lines and geometric shapes. The seat is covered with cognac leather that complements the sturdy character of the chair. The backrest is slightly tilted, providing excellent comfort. In absence of decorative details, the design convinces visually through the well-balanced appearance and the stabile construction. The chair was first presented at the Copenhagen Cabinetmakers’ Guild exhibition in 1957.
Please note that the chairs are in good, used condition with some stains in the leather and wear on the frames. Restoration is possible before shipping by our experienced craftspeople in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece retains its value and is ready for the many years to come. We kindly ask you to contact our design experts for further information about the endless possibilities our restoration and upholstery atelier has to offer. Of course, a locally organized restoration is possible as well.
