Giampiero Vitelli for Rossi di Albizzate 'Minore' Easy Chair in Brown Leather
Giampiero Vitelli for Rossi di Albizzate, 'Minore' easy chair, leather, plywood, wood, Italy, 1961
A truly magnificent piece that scores highly on every design aspect: execution, material use, craftsmanship, and detail. This Minore armchair is designed by Giampiero Vitelli for Rossi di Albizzate and dates back to 1961. When experienced from the side, the backrest begins with a concave shape and gradually develops into arched legs with a convex shape. This gives the unit its defining, distinctive look, with its pronounced curves and elegant lines. The large seat is executed in a fine brown leather and together with the angular ears and outward-facing armrests, an ultimate level of comfort is guaranteed. The chair bears witness to the designer's excellent taste for form and harmonic compositions.
Please note that this item is in fair condition with the leather showing tears and stains and the wooden framework contains loose joints.
