French Pair of Art Deco Lounge Chairs in Green Upholstery

Sale price$22,000.00

Pair of armchairs, fabric, birch, France, circa 1930.

These beautifully designed lounge chairs are created in one of the most influential periods for the arts namely the Art Deco Movement. These rare lounge chair originate from France and show strong resemblance to the aesthetics of the French designer duo André Domin & Marcel Genevriere and Émile-Jacques Ruhlmann. A rather remarkable design that is based on fluid lines and curvaceous shapes. The backrest smoothly runs over to the front. The rear legs mimic this movement in an opposite way. This pair exemplify the artistry and distinctive craftsmanship of the designer and can therefore be placed in the heart of one's interior.

These chairs have been newly upholstered in our in-house atelier and are perfectly ready to enjoy for many years.
