Ernst Moeckl Set of Six Colorful Kangaroo Chairs
Ernst Moeckl for Trabant, set of six 'Kangaroo' or 'Z' armchairs, fiberglass, Germany, designed in 1968
This set of pink 'Kangaroo' chairs is designed by Ernst Moeckl in 1968. The chair is also called the 'Z-chair', referring to its shape. During the period of the Iron Curtain, the iconic 'Panton chair' by Verner Panton was produced in Western Europe, while Eastern Germany produced the 'Z' chair. Thanks to the material, the chairs can be used both indoors and outdoors and are stackable as well.
