Elegant and comfortable set of four dining chairs designed by Bernt Petersen in the 1960s. The chairs are executed in a mahogany frame and leather seating. Special design feature is the frame that is visible also around the seat. The seat shell with a high back is upholstered in bright leather.
Bernt Petersen (1937-2017) was a Danish architect and a trained carpenter. From the 1960s on, Bernt Petersen designed his own wooden furniture, which has been used in theaters and concert halls in a wide range of Danish cities. Bernt Petersen has also worked as an exhibition architect.
The mahogany type of this piece does not require an export license.
Please note that these chairs are in good, used condition and the leather shows minor patina and some spots, common for pieces this age.
