André Sornay Highboard in Mahogany and Ash

Sale price$8,700.00

André Sornay for Atelier Sornay, wardrobe or armoire, ash, mahogany, France, 1950s

Iconic midcentury wardrobe by French designer André Sornay. With its geometric design and the combination of mahogany and ash the appearance awakes the association with Japanese design. The wooden front panels in ash are vertically and horizontally structured, adding a graphical touch to the design. The frame and the base are executed in mahogany that beautifully complements with the warm tone of the ash. A sophisticated storage facility is created by arranging the interior of the cabinet with shelves, a drawer, and a rail system.
