Achilli, Brigidini & Canella 'Quadrifoglio' Sofa in Patterned Upholstery
Michele Achilli, Daniele Brigidini, Guido Canella for Poltranova, sofa model 'Quadrifoglio', rosewood, fabric upholstery, Italy, designed 1962
Architect trio Michele Achilli, Daniele Brigidini, Guido Canella designed this 'Quadrofoglio' lounge chair and sofa for Poltranova in 1962. Remarkable are the outwards curving armrests in combination with the rounded backrests with tufted details. But also the wooden legs catch the eye. Two paired connected slats lift up the piece at four points. Overall a well-balanced, dynamic design with great seating comfort.
Currently the sofa is upholstered in pattered fabric that is in good, used condition. Reupholstery is possible before shipping by our experienced craftsman in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece retains its value and is ready for the many years to come. The other option is to reupholster the piece locally.
