1950s Mid-Century Modern Italian Armchairs in Wood and Bicolor Fabric
Armchairs, stained beech, faux leather, Italy, 1950s
Italian armchairs exemplary of 1950s mid-century modern design. The wooden structure employs an elegant interplay of intersecting angular element, forming an X-shaped framework on both sides. The legs extend outward in a diagonal alignment, lending both structural stability and a dynamic, outward-reaching posture. The reclined backrest, spacious seat, and integrated armrests work together to provide ergonomic seating comfort, seamlessly complementing the chair's sleek, linear design.
Kindly note that the chairs are in good, used condition. The wooden framework contains minor wear marks. The fabric exhibits some stains. Reupholstery is possible before shipping by our experienced craftspeople in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece retains its value and is ready for the many years to come. We kindly ask you to contact our design experts for further information about the endless possibilities our restoration and upholstery atelier has to offer. Of course, a locally organized reupholstery is possible as well.
