Modern armchair made in Europe in the 1950s. This chair is made of bent tubular steel with black saddle leather upholstery. Beautiful curved lines combine into a modern and clean design. A true modernist item as made famous by Bauhaus and contemporary designers like Marcel Breuer and Ludwig Mies van der Rohe. The saddle leather upholstery is in good condition. Due age and use an interesting pattern of wear is visible as an all-over patina. The leather is placed as a sleeve over the tubular metal frame.
