Tapio Wirkkala Dining Chairs 'Nikke' with Metal Frames

Beautiful 'Nikke' dining chairs design by the Finnish designer Tapio Wirkkala. This model is a wonderful example of an early minimalist design. The chair consists of a black lacquered plywood seat, organically shaped. The frame features nickel-plated tubular steel legs that are slim and straight. 

Kindly be aware that we have a large amount of these chairs in our collection, which makes this an ideal set for a project. Please note that the chairs differ in condition from very good to signs of wear and use, mainly at the seat. Some chairs are missing some lacquer on the edges. Restoration is possible before shipping by the experienced craftsman in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece retains its value and is ready for the many years to come. Of course, a locally organized reupholstery is possible as well.
