French Art Deco Set of Six Dining Chairs in Darkened Oak
Set of six dining chairs, oak, metal, faux leather, France, 1940s
This set of French dining chairs show a basic design, with strong proportions. The geometric backrest is a typical feature from the Art Deco, which also gives the chair an open character. A nice visual aspect of the chair is the rear legs, that shows a nice curve, made in one single solid piece of oak. The seat is upholstered in thick olive green leatherette, and is finished with nails.
Please note that these items are in used condition and show signs of wear and use. The padding of the seats is in fair condition. Reupholstery is possible before shipping by our experienced craftsman and -women in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece retains its value and is ready for the many years to come. We kindly ask you to contact our design experts for further information about the endless possibilities our restoration and upholstery atelier has to offer. Of course, a locally organized reupholstery is possible as well.
