Set of Four Italian Dining Chairs in Wood and Turquoise Upholstery
Set of four dining chairs, wood, fabric, Italy, 1960s
These Italian-made dining chairs echo the distinct styles of Augusto Savini’s 'Pamplona' chair (1965) and Afra & Tobia Scarpa's 'Pigreco' chair (1959-1960), but stand out with unique design elements. Their design is characterized by robust vertical and horizontal lines, giving them an architectural and geometric feel. The backrest is held up by a sturdy wooden frame made from two parallel slats, which seamlessly connect to the front legs. To enhance stability and aesthetic harmony, additional slats are placed between the front and back legs, creating a striking visual line. The chairs are adorned with patterned upholstery, where a vibrant shade of turquoise is the dominant color, adding a pop of color and style.
Kindly note that the chairs are in good condition with some wear on the lower part of the legs. For further details, we encourage you to reach out to our team of design specialists.
