Set of Eight Italian Armchairs with Bentwood Frames in Grey Boucle
Set of eight dining chairs, lacquered wood, reupholstered in bouclé, Italy, 1970s
This lovely set of Italian dining chair has a strong resemblance to Augusto Savini's 'Pamplona' chair (1965) and Afra & Tobia Scrapa's 'Pigreco' chair (1959/60), yet the designs are different in their details. This chair also has the same shaped frame but then the connections are executed fully in wood. These chairs have black lacquered frames and the seats and backrests are upholstered in a soft bouclé with an off-white to light grey hue.
Please note that the depicted photographs of this chair show the final result of what the item will look like after reupholstery.
