Sculptural Pair of Lounge Chairs in Blonde Wood with Canvas Webbing
Pair of lounge chairs, beech, canvas, Czech Republic, 1950s
Sculpted lounge chairs made in the Czech Republic in the 1950s. These chairs are made in a slender beech frame, and are upholstered in canvas webbing. The straps are connected to the frame with metal nails, adding an element of early 20th century furniture design to this modern set. These vivid chairs show an ergonomic curve in this design, creating comfort and a relaxed posture while sitting in them. The wide armrests and base contribute to the sculptural appearance of this set of lounge chairs.
Kindly note that the chairs are in used condition. The canvas webbing needs to be restored. Restoration is possible before shipping by our experienced craftspeople in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece retains its value and is ready for the many years to come. We kindly ask you to contact our design experts for further information about the endless possibilities our restoration and upholstery atelier has to offer. Of course, a locally organized restoration is possible as well.
