Percival Lafer Ottoman in Olive Green Leather and Mahogany
Percival Lafer, ottoman or stool, mahogany, leather, Brazil, 1970s
Bulky and voluptuous pouf made in the 1970s by Percival Lafer. The olive green leather of the seat is tufted, which contributes to the ottoman's sturdy appearance. The geometric legs of the frame bend inwards and are slightly connected to each others. The dark color of the frame fits stunningly with the green leather.
Percival Lafer began making furniture in the early 1960s. He had the true modernist view, and wanted to bring good and affordable design to everyone. His furniture is characterized by a modern and contemporary design in addition with solid hardwoods from Brazil.
The mahogany type of this piece does not require an export license.
