Palle Suenson for Fritz Hansen Set of Four Windsor Armchairs

Sale price£8,734.00

Palle Suenson for Fritz Hansen, set of four Windsor dining chairs, teak, beech, Denmark, design 1947, production 1940s/1950s

Palle Suenson conceived this modern Windsor-style chair originally for the Au Coq d'Or restaurant located in Copenhagen, Denmark, in 1947. These chairs are produced by Fritz Hansen somewhere between the 1940s and '50s. The gracefully arched backrest is formed by uniformly spaced slats, creating an airy aesthetic. This same curvature is mirrored in the intersecting supports between the legs. An exceptionally comfortable chair with a naturalistic appeal.

Kindly take note that the chairs contain wear due to age and use. For further details, we encourage you to reach out to our team of design specialists.
