Mario Bellini for B&B Italia, 'Bamboletto' daybed or double bed, fabric, Italy, 1970s

Introducing the exquisite 'Bamboletto' daybed, designed by the acclaimed Italian designer and architect Mario Bellini. The Bamboletto bed forms an integral part of the celebrated 'Le Bambole' furniture series conceived in 1972. Its low, tufted appearance with gently contoured, almost cushion-like form, invites you to lounge and unwind. Its original fabric takes center stage with its vibrant orange, soothing beige, and bold black squared pattern. This piece perfectly embodies Bellini's signature focus on soft, human-centered design.
