Marco Zanuso for Arflex ‘Square’ Lounge Chair
Marco Zanuso for Arflex, 'Square' lounge chair, fabric, metal, wood, Italy, 1962
This eccentric chair by Marco Zanuso is well-executed embodying a solid construction. Characteristic for this model are the low positioned armrests and backrest which, together with the thickness of the cushions, contribute to a sturdy and bulky appearance. The clear lines and cubic shapes contribute to the chair's sophisticated appearance. The chair is upholstered in a striped grey, white and light blue fabric, and tufted cushions to provide an ultimate level of comfort. The body rests on four wooden disc-shaped legs that give an elegant and light touch to the quite solid chair.

Reupholstery can be done before shipping by our experienced craftspeople in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece contains its value and is ready for the many years to come. We kindly ask you to contact our design experts for further information about the endless possibilities our restoration and upholstery atelier has to offer. Of course, a locally organized reupholstery is possible as well.
