This eccentric easy chair, designed by Italian designer Marco Zanuso in the 1950s, is known as the 'Martingala' chair. Its playful exterior is accentuated by the bright coral red fabric upholstery. The curving lines of the armrests seamlessly transition into the rounded backrest, creating a dynamic and fluid form. Zanuso paid special attention to the back of the chair, where the richly upholstered rear is cinched by a horizontal fabric band, producing vertical folding lines. The chair rests on four elegant, slender chrome metal legs, each fitted with round black plastic feet.

Please note that we advise reupholstery before use. This item contains threadbare upholstery with discoloration. Reupholstery can be done before shipping by our experienced craftspeople in our own in-house restoration atelier.
