Each soft pink coral-colored canvas strap is meticulously attached to the wooden frame with brass nails, adding a touch of sophistication. The tapered legs contribute to the chair's elegant and airy appearance. Walter Knoll famously advertised this chair with the keywords: ‘form, structure, economy,’ highlighting its beautiful design born out of material scarcity. Initially, leftover military nylon was ingeniously repurposed for the seat and backrest.
