Danish sculptor and designer Jens Harald Quistgaard (1919-2008) is particularly known for designing kitchenware and tableware. Although consisting of a smaller amount, his oeuvre incorporates home furnishings of excellent quality. This fireplace set is a great testament of Quistgaard's brilliance and great craftsmanship. The design is mainly executed in forged iron, and embellished with brass accents. The set consists of a wall-mounted rack accompanied with three tools: a shovel, poker, and broom.
