This floor lamp features a 'costelature' stem and base crafted from green glass. "Costelature" refers to a decorative technique that involves creating ridges or ribbing on the surface of a glass object. The sculptural quality of the glasswork elevates the lamp beyond mere functionality, transforming it into a piece of art. The brass joint connecting the base and stem adds a sophisticated contrast to the transparent glass. While this model bears a strong resemblance to Venini floor lamps, models 529 and 533, the base is distinctly shaped, setting it apart.
