Giuseppe Davanzo 'Serena' Dining Chair in Ash
Giuseppe Davanzo for Appiani Selezione, dining chair 'Serena', ash, plastic, Italy, 1960s
This dining chair was designed by Giuseppe Davanzo in the 1960s. On an ash frame rest the round seat and backrest. The frame shows a warm tone of the ash wood with black metal connections. The seat and backrest are made out of red plastic, that catches the eye immediately. Due to their roundness, bent edges and their attractive color the chair has a certain playful character.
