French Vitrine in Red Silk Moiré and Green Marble
Vitrine, marble, brass, glass, silk moiré, France, 1950s.
This is a refined midcentury brass vitrine of exquisite craftsmanship, presumably made for the high-end boutique French market. This showcase is equipped with two glass shelves that can be easily repositioned to suit your personal preferences, enabling you to customize the interior layout to your liking. The legs and upper rim feature understated ornamental accents that add a touch of elegance to the piece. The top is made of green marble characterized by expressive grains. The back panel is finished in a delicate red pink silk moiré fabric, further elevating its luxurious aesthetic.
Kindly note that the piece is in good, used condition with signs of age and use. The brass is patinated and one glass shelf contains a chip. Restoration is possible before shipping by our experienced craftspeople in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece retains its value and is ready for the many years to come. We kindly ask you to contact our design experts for further information about the endless possibilities our restoration and upholstery atelier has to offer. Of course, a locally organized restoration is possible as well.
