Sale price£788.59

Ejnar Larsen and Axel Bender Madsen for Fritz Hansen, armchair, model '4205', alcantara, oak, Denmark, 1950s

A striking design by Ejnar Larsen & Axel Bender Madsen developed in 1955. The armchair has a light and open geometry with gently rounded contours. The tapered sleek legs and sculpted armrests imbue the piece with an elegant appearance. The solidly crafted framework is built to last. The seat and backrest are upholstered in a light blue colored alcantara.

Kindly note that the piece is in good, used condition with signs of age and use. This includes stains on the fabric and scratches on the wooden frames. Reupholstery is possible before shipping by our experienced craftspeople in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece retains its value and is ready for the many years to come. We kindly ask you to contact our design experts for further information about the endless possibilities our restoration and upholstery atelier has to offer. Of course, a locally organized reupholstery is possible as well.
