De Sede DS-600 'Snake' Sectional Sofa in Patinated Dark Brown Leather
De Sede, ‘Snake’ DS-600, leather, felt, Switzerland, 1972.
A design by Ueli Berger, Elenora Peduzzi-Riva, Heinz Ulrich and Klaus Vogt for De Sede, Switzerland. This De Sede modular 'Snake' sectional sofa contains seventeen pieces in original patinated leather upholstery, of which fifteen centrepieces and two higher armrests. Any number of pieces can be zipped together ensuring an endless shape suitable for every room and occasion.
De Sede once started as a saddler's workshop in Klingnau, Switzerland. Slowly, the company widened their Scope and committed themselves to transforming the best possible leather into seating furniture. In 1965 the family-run business grew into a professional company and their name was De Sede AG. De Sede products are detail-obsessed and are completely made and focussed on the people who use them. Therefore, all the DeSede items are made out of the best materials which results in durability and comfort.
Please note that this sofa is in good, used condition. The felt and leather show signs of wear and use. In addition, some stains are visible on the leather. Restoration can be done before shipping by our experienced craftsmen and -women in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece retains its value and is ready for the many years to come. We kindly ask you to contact our design experts for further information about the endless possibilities our restoration and upholstery atelier has to offer. Of course, a locally organized restoration is possible as well.
