Danish Wingback Chair in Red Leather and Oak

Sale price£1,479.71

Lounge chair, red leather, oak, Denmark, 1930s.

This early Danish lounge chair features a voluminous wingback shape that gives the chair an elegant look. The 'ears' and armrest are beautifully formed. At the same time, the patinated leather red leather gives this chair a certain warmth and quirkiness. This is an incredible example of very early Danish design.

The chair comes with patinated original leather, so wear is visible. Please note that the item is in good, used condition. Reupholstery is possible before shipping by our experienced craftsman in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece retains its value and is ready for the many years to come. We kindly ask you to contact our design experts for further information about the endless possibilities our restoration and upholstery atelier has to offer. Of course, a locally organized reupholstery is possible as well.
