Danish Settee in Floral Upholstery

Sale price£3,401.15

Sofa or settee, fabric, stained beech, walnut, Denmark, 1940s.

This settee owes its elegancy to the way the corpus is built: a thin frame that rests on beautifully sculpted legs that allude to the stylistics traits of the artistic Art Deco movement. The seating area is upholstered in a fabric of flora and fauna motifs accompanied with illustrative ribbons executed in beige and black. Considering every stylistic decision, this sofa radiates a sophisticated appearance structured in a classic way.

Please note that we advise reupholstery before use. This can be done before shipping by our experienced craftsman in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece retains its value and is ready for the many years to come. We kindly ask you to contact our design experts for further information about the endless possibilities our restoration and upholstery atelier has to offer. Of course, a locally organized reupholstery is possible as well.
