Sale price£383.10

Antonin Suman for Ton, armchairs model E4309, lacquered beech, fabric, Czech Republic, 1977

These dining chairs are manufactured by Ton. The chair features a wonderful bentwood frame that is colored in an eye-catching red tone. Engraved rings add a subtle detail to the frame. Currently upholstered in a purple pattern fabric, the chair features a lovely composition of colors and textures.

TON was founded after World War Two in former Thonet factories and continued with the furniture making tradition set up by Thonet. In the 1960s, TON asked various architects to contribute to research and developments of new designs using the technology of bentwood and leading to new, more contemporary designs.
