Carl Malmsten High Back Chair in Mahogany and Blue Upholstery

High back chair designed by Swedish designer Carl Malmsten. This chair is made in a warm mahogany, with a beautiful grain visible, as seen for example on the armrests. The lines and curves of this particular design are striking and the small tapered legs complement its shape beautifully. The seating is upholstered in blue fabric. Along the outer lines the upholstery is fastened with brass nails which also functions as a decorative detail. The tufted backrest gives this chair a sophisticated character.

Please note that this chair is in good, used condition. This item might contain some threadbare upholstery with loose seams and small stains. Reupholstery can be done before shipping by our experienced craftsmen and -women in our own in-house restoration atelier.
