The original version of the 'Oxford' chair was designed for the professors at St. Catherine’s College in Oxford. Later on Arne Jacobsen developed the design into different models. The 3272 features an extra high back that shows an organic line and floats over into the seat. This shell is built out of moulded wood covered with foam and upholstered in green fabric. The armrests as well as the five-star base with round toes are shown in satin-polished aluminium.

Please note that these chairs are in good, used condition. Reupholstery can be done before shipping by our experienced craftsmen and -women in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece contains its value and is ready for the many years to come. Of course, a locally organized reupholstery is possible as well.
