Sale price£3,074.48

Antonin Suman for TON, set of eight armchairs, model E4309, beech, fabric, Czech Republic, 1970s

These dining chairs are manufactured by Ton and designed by Antonin Suman. They feature a wonderful bentwood frame that is engraved with rings that add a subtle detail to the frame.

TON was founded after WWII in former Thonet factories and continued with the furniture making tradition set up by Thonet. In the 1960s, TON asked various architects to contribute to research and developments of new designs using the technology of bentwood and leading to new, more contemporary designs.
