1950s Italian Lounge Chair in Plywood and Camel Pink Upholstery

This lounge chair, made of mahogany plywood, faux leather, and metal in Italy during the 1950s, embodies an exquisite form made possible by the inherent quality of the plywood, resulting in sharp, sleek lines and solid geometry. The crescent-shaped backrest and outward-facing armrests add an elegant touch to the chair, counterbalancing the overall heavy appearance. The armrests are secured to the frame by means of nails, further enhancing the robust look of the chair. The seat is upholstered in a fine leatherette marked by a pink camel tone. Please note that the fabric is in used condition with visible wear marks, scratches, and stains. The wood contains signs of use, with loose and repaired veneer.
