Midcentury Safari or ‘Riaza’ armchairs by Spanish designer Paco Muñoz. These chairs are created out of high quality saddle leather with removable buckles underneath the seating. The leather has aged elegantly and shows stunning patina. The frame is solid beech in a warm color that perfectly matches the leather. Muñoz was inspired by the Danish modern classics, such as the iconic safari chair by Kaare Klint, Arne Norell and Borge Mogensen, and Spanish friar armchairs of the 18th century. Creating an interesting, but stunning mix of influences in these chairs.
