This 'boomerang' sofa has a unique shape with sinuous lines which create a monumental and inviting look. The right-facing sofa is a great addition to a living area or dining area, it vibrates a contemporary, cosmopolitan look. This piece is finished on a bottom with a walnut frame and small legs that lift the sofa up gracefully.
Adrian Pearsall (1925-2011), trained as an architectural engineer, was a sailor and interior designer. In 1952, Pearsall opened his own furniture company 'Craft Associates'. Pearsall designed some of the most sensuous, gracious midcentury design pieces, sharing some of the design aesthetics by Vladimir Kagan. His pieces are characterized by flamboyant curves, upswept shapes and stretched proportions.
