Pierre Chapo Dining Table T35D and S11 Chairs Dining Chairs
Pierre Chapo, dining table model T35D in elm, set of ten dining chairs model S11 in elm and leather, France, 1960s. A beautiful dining room set by the French designer Pierre Chapo. The dining table has a strong and simplified design which clearly emerges the woods grain and natural look. The rectangular tabletop with sloping edges, rests on a two-legged base. With characteristic wood-joints as Chapo's trademark. It shows a subtle patina due to the use and age of this T35D over the previous years. The ten chairs are manufactured in solid elmwood with saddle leather seating and back. The chairs show absolutely stunning wood joints and were created as a result of the pioneering 48 x 72 assembly ratio. The thick saddle leather is lightly patinated during use and age and shows interesting stitching. Please note that within the set they patina might look different.
