Carlo Scarpa for Bernini, 'Scuderia' dining table, Italian walnut, Italy, 1977
Rare to find 'Scuderia' table designed by Carlo Scarpa in 1977, manufactured by Bernini. A rather special tabletop format is combined with a characteristic design of the legs. The square tabletop shows admirable grain of the walnut that structures the top in a natural, dynamic way. Carlo Scarpa signed his design on the edge of the top. Four legs are lifting up the top. They are placed in the corners of the table and consist each out of two circular legs paired together. This particular 'Scuderia' dining table shows an expressive wood that is layered in multicolored shades.
