Vittorio Chiaia and Massimo Napolitano for Arflex , set of six armchairs model CN1, in metal and fabric, Italy, 1950s.

Set of six modern dining room chairs with metal frame and blue fabric upholstery designed by Vittorio Chiaia and Massimo Napolitano for Arflex. These chairs have a true open and light character. The hairpin frame of black coated metal is inferior to the round and curved seating and back. Yet the black of the tubular metal makes a beautiful contrast to the blue fabric of the upholstery.

Please note that we advise reupholstery before use. This can be done before shipping by our experienced craftsman in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece retains its value and is ready for the many years to come. We kindly ask you to contact our design experts for further information about the endless possibilities our restoration and upholstery atelier has to offer. Of course, a locally organized reupholstery is possible as well.
