Pierre Dariel, pair of Hendaye armchairs, beech, fabric, France, 1930s

Pair of Hendaye model armchairs designed by Pierre Dariel in the 1930s. The structure is composed entirely out of beech, while the seat and backrest are upholstered. Unique to these chairs is the system created to fold in the seat and backrest up- or downwards. Due to the very structred frame and armrests, the chairs have a lot of character.

Please note that we advise reupholstery before use. This can be done before shipping by our experienced craftsman in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece retains its value and is ready for the many years to come.
