Pair of 'Ameba' armchairs, rosewood, textured fabric upholstery, Brazil, 1960s

Pair of 'Ameba' armchairs by an unknown Brazilian furniture architect. This exquisite pair consists of a rounded frame in rosewood. This sculptural and organic shape holds bulky tufted cushions in an off-white textured upholstery. The upholstery contrasts wonderfully with the warm and expressively grained rosewood. These lounge chairs are comfortable and inviting the seater, and in great condition. Please note that we also have a matching sofa in stock.
